Agnieszka moved to Ireland in 2003 from a little Polish town, roughly the size of Galway, to pursue her love for genetics and study for a PhD degree. Soon after she re-discovered her passion for wool, picking up knitting needles for the first time in many years. She was especially enchanted by intricate lace designs and soon started making lace shawls and wraps on request from friends and her first customers. Her love for wool pushed her to research the process of yarn-making and to try making her own yarns. That lead to experimenting with different fibres and colours and finally to discovery of the art of felt making. As a full time laboratory researcher she spends the weekends spinning, knitting or felting. On a rare occasion of a sunny day she enjoys gardening and long walks bringing her closer to nature.
