This is scoop is designed to be the all round tool for scooping up small grains, cofee, oats, flour, sugar and more.
I features a robust minimalist design making it quite a tough little utensil. The triangle shape gives you an extra bit of handle space for good grip and a small hole at the end giving you the option to hang the scoop or add a decorative lanyard.
The scoop is hand carved using an axe and knife and finished with a pass of a polishing sponge. This gives it a silky smooth finish to the touch but still appreciating the knife marks that tell the story of how it was made.
The inner bowl and top part of the spoon is sanded to a completely smoothed polish finish, really expressing that contrast of a smooth sanded finish and the rustic carved finish.
The simple decorative line on the handle is achieved by a pyrography pen and adds that finishing touch to the overall minimalist simplicity of this scoop.
